I run a very successful studio here in Boulder, Colorado. Over the last 5 years or so I have been mentoring students on behalf of Recording Connection, and I have to say that I have been very impressed by how their apprentices have conducted themselves. Initially I was somewhat wary about having untrained individuals running around in my precious studio, but since the first student arrived and really showed me just how eager to learn and how professionally he behave I have been very happy to accept them. Due to a strict screening process only students that are 100% committed to learn will step foot through my doors. They will study hard, listen intently and ask lots of questions. So far, all the students introduced to me from RC have indeed fulfilled these criteria. I am passionate about recording and If the student is like minded he or she is most welcome here. Actually I have personally managed to find employment for all my interns, either at my facilities or at business associates studios. A friend of mine suggested I give recording connection a call as I was very much interested in the recording business. However I was very skeptical about this kind of course, as I assumed you would need at least 2 years to learn the basics of recording. Despite my reluctance I went to meet with someone from recording connection and after they explained everything to me my mind was put at ease. They explained that I would need to be willing to work hard and listened without hesitation. I would also be tested regularly and evaluated by my personal mentor. He also explained that if I work hard and do well, there is always the chance of being hired by the very studio I would be interning in. That was 2 months ago and I have to say the folks were totally on the ball. It has been hard and I have had a lot to take in, but it has also been a lot of fun working on professional equipment alongside real artists. Do yourself a big favor, meet up with these guys, but go with an open mind and you will also discover the delights that lay in store for you thanks to www.recordingconnection.com.

One of my friends has just completed his program with recording connection and was so pleased with the results that he has Just convinced me to enroll. Not that it took much convincing once the program curriculum and other details were explained to me. Not only did they explain the course to me, they also went through the various payment options available to me. Fortunately they have their own in house credit with easy payments which means that I can pay as I learn. The fact that I can continue working whilst I learn is a god send. My friend has just started working at a large studio near Wichita and hopefully once I complete my course I can work there too. Just thought I would say thank you to recording connection for helping me to break into the music business. Their courses are tailored to fit the individual student. Their lesson plans utilize Pro Tools, which is seen as the best way to acquire knowledge of recording. I successfully completed my course in 2007 and have been working prolifically ever since. My mentor taught me just about everything I would need to make myself useful in a busy recording studio. In fact he was so good that the studio I was working at took me on themselves after I finished my course. So I just want to say thank you again to www.recordingconnection.com for making it happen.

Just a quick letter to say thank you to recording connection for all they have done to help me over the last 5 months. They tailor made a curriculum that fitted my lifestyle like a glove. You see I work full time, so finding classes that I can do in my free time is a Godsend. The backup and support is second to none, they even provided in house credit, with easy payment options.
