5 years ago I was fortunate enough to enroll into one of one of Recording Connection’s legendary recording programs here in San Francisco. This 6-month course changed my entire life. It not only taught me the skills I would need in order to work as a sound engineer, it also gave me the discipline and work ethics required to be a valued member of a recording crew. I was able to conduct my course close to where I lived and worked. This was crucial as I depended on my job to survive. I was able to learn in my free time and at weekends so it did not conflict with my job. Well I completed my course and was able to give up my day job and find work as a recording engineer about 20 miles from my home. This is perfect for me.

2 years ago one of my best friends, Matt enrolled with Recording Connection near our hometown of Council Bluffs, Iowa. He said it was THE most pivotal decision that he had ever made in his life. So I have decided to follow in his footsteps and enroll. It’s a lot of hard work but if Matt can do it so can I. My mentor is showing me just about everything I will need to know, but because he gives me the knowledge and information in small manageable bite sized pieces it’s easy to take in. Hopefully I will do as well as Matt. The course is fantastic and well worth doing. Thank you www.recordingconnection.com.

I just want to make it 100% clear that the training I received through Recording Connection worked for me. I was trained by a guy who actually works full time in a real recording studio, not by some college professor with corduroy elbow patches on his tweed sports jacket along. He had a great deal of time for me and also lots of patience. I made numerous mistakes but he was always jovial, never lost his temper or put me down. This meant a lot to me as I was never much of a scholar at school. He put me at ease and taught me in such a way that it was a genuine pleasure to work with him. I got on with him so well that at the end of my program he actually took me on as his assistant and I have been working alongside him now for the last 9 months. I want to thank Johnny and also www.recordingconnection.com.

Thank you so much for helping me break into recording. I’m hallway through my 6-month program and am having a ball. It’s not all smooth sailing mind you. There is a lot to take in, fortunately my mentor has taken the time to go through everything with me and ensured that I take notes and ask questions. He is also testing me regularly to make certain that I take in the information he passes along. He has already begun to introduce me to several business associates of his.
