Antonius L. - Chicago, Illinois

Antonius L.
Chicago, Illinois

I run a small studio just outside of Chicago. I specialize in electronic music. Two years ago I was introduced to a young man, named Errol who was looking to enroll with Recording Connection. It was my job to speak to him to gauge whether he was a suitable candidate for the program. Almost immediately I could sense that he had what it would take to be a successful recording engineer. I agreed to mentor him and guide him into the recording business. He caught on very fast and showed the abilities required to make it in my studio. Even before he finished his course I knew he was the person I wanted to help in my studio. That was a great decision on my part and I am so glad that I got him first. I have no problem recommending www.recording connection.com to my business acquaintances, especially if they are the caliber of Errol. Thank you.

Five years ago I enrolled with Recording Connection. It was the most pivotal moment in my adult life. It was the time I stopped being a boy and finally grew up. The course taught me how to be responsible, not only for myself but also for others. Because of what I learned with them I am now working as a successful music producer here in my hometown of Detroit. I work in a very successful studio, specializing in African American music and it keeps me very busy, and very satisfied. Nothing makes me prouder than knowing that I was responsible for making something out of nothing. The www.recordingconnection.com course taught me so much and I am so thankful to them.

To get the opportunity to produce something from nothing is many people’s dream, it certainly was mine. So when I got the chance to make tracks in a fully specked recording studio thanks to Recording Connection I jumped at the chance. They have a mentor / apprentice program that fits you like a glove. It allows you to learn in your spare time and also means that you can continue working your day job. My mentor took me back to basics and taught me from the ground up. I was surprised at how much I did not know. I was also surprised at how much fun this course would be, granted it was hard work and there was a lot to take in. I even get credit for the work I do, this will sure come in handy when I start job hunting. My mentor says that the credit will be worth a hundred fancy university diplomas. I have 2 interviews lined up for next week and my mentor will be coming with me for moral support. I hope things go well. Either way, I just want to say thank you to my mentor, Toby and www.recordingconnection.com helping me.

Just wanted to let you good folks know how pleased I am that I enrolled with Recording Connection on one of their tailored programs. It was designed to fit me like a glove. I was able to continue working; this was a godsend as it meant that I did not fall into debt. The materials were all top of the line, as was the facilities that I trained in. My mentor was a fully working pro with an excellent reputation. I showed me everything that I would need to learn in a studio. It was an intensive course, which means you learned fast and utilized it immediately. This is the best way to learn. Get stuck in and get your hands dirty. That’s how most of the top recording engineers learned. Very few learned studio work from inside a classroom. If this sounds like the way you want to learn, then give www.recordingconnection.com a call.

For a while I have been thinking about enrolling with Recording Connection on one of their recording programs here in New Orleans. The problem was when I decided to do a little research I found there were some negative comments on some forums I visited. Luckily I was able to get some straight answers from a very nice guy who said as long as I find a mentor who will go the extra mile for me and will introduce me to his business associates there would be no problems. He also advised me to do my own research. I am so glad I listened to him and not those naysayers. This has been the best work related thing I could ever have done. My mentor works me hard because he wants to be sure that I will be in it for the long haul. Well I am, totally. Over the last 4 months we have gone through just about everything you would need to know in order to get started as a recording engineer. His studios are state of the art. He also gives me loads of homework assignments and a list of books to read and videos to watch. Like I say it’s a lot of hard work, but it will be worth it in the end. So, my advice is don’t listen to the unfounded negative remarks about recording schools, do your own research and make up your own mind. Then give www.recordingconnection.com a call. It could well be the best decision you will ever make.
