I love pop music from Madonna to the Black Eyed Peas, Phil Collins to Avril Lavern. Pop has so much kinetic energy. I’m glued to American Idol every Wednesday and Thursday night. I want to be a part of this energetic industry, and thanks to www.recordingconnection.com that’s what I intend to be a part of. Mathieu, my mentor has been teaching me all aspects of recording pop music from choice of instruments to sound mixing. I have learned to tame the mixing desk, which initially was rather daunting. I love the atmosphere of a recording studio and thanks to Mathieu’s contacts I am gaining a lot of experience in them. All close to where I live as well, so no long distance traveling for me. Plus the curriculum is tailored to my schedule, not the other way around. Thanks to their much lower costs and Sallie Mae’s financial aid I won’t be in debt for the rest of my life.
