Ever since I left school I had worked retail. It was fairly secure but not very fulfilling. I had been growing increasingly disillusioned with the work and routine. When a friend suggested that I change my lifestyle and look to new horizons I leapt at the chance. I had always been interested in music. My friends and I would mess around in his small home studio that was in his basement. My friend Simon suggested that I give recording connection a call and see what my options were. The moment I looked around a real studio I was hooked. Four months have passed and I am half way through my course and have no regrets. I have learned so much and I know I have a lot more to learn. Working within a real studio makes all the difference. Thanks to the flexibility I have been able to keep my day job and study in my free time, which suits me fine.
