Simon N. Nashville Tennessee Everyone is saying that the music industry is in a bad way and it’s not a good idea to try to get into it. I have to disagree. I believe it is evolving away from big studios to smaller setups. Admittedly things are in a state of flux at the moment, but this also makes for interesting times. I have recently enrolled in Recording Connections mentor-apprentice program. This is a superb program that aims to prepare me for life in the recording industry, whether it is for a big studio system or a small independent operation. My mentor is teaching me all aspects of working in recording, from the ground up. I still have a long way to go before I can consider myself a recording technician, but hopefully in a few months I will be. Thank you www.recordingconnection.com.
